Rash? Help!?

My Frenchie always gets these weird rashes that look like a bunch of mosquito bites, what can I do to prevent this and treat it?

Allergies are a common cause of dermal irritation in dogs.  Allergies include contact dermatitis, environmental allergies, food allergies, and flea allergies.  Dogs with allergies chew, lick, and bite their body–this further damages the skin leading to secondary infections (yeast, bacterial, and mites).
Your dog needs to be examined by a veterinarian to help establish a diagnosis and treatment plan.  Allergies are about control not cure.
Before you appointment you can start your dog on Benadryl –the dose is 1 milligram per pound of body weight given by mouth twice daily.  Do NOT use the Cold and Sinus variety-only plain Benadryl is safe.  Also stop him from licking his feet with an Elizabethan Collar–chewing will only make the rash worse.
